Become An Election Worker

Consider becoming a poll worker for the upcoming November 3, 2020 primary election.
The pay is $9/hr for Election Clerk and $10/hr for Election Judge for an approximately 14 hour day.

Sign up here (https://forms.gle/XMvVg1J37AwH9haB7) to request consideration. We will then activate you in the system so you can register for a class. The class registration feature will be available September 2020.
You will receive an email from noreply@smithcountyelections.com (it may go to Spam). Follow instructions in email. You can then proceed with online training.

Election Judges preside over election polling place activities and enforce election law. Election Clerks help the Judge administer polling site activities.

Primary elections are administered by the Party and election day compensation is paid by the Party.

Early voting and all other elections are administered by the Smith County Elections Administrator and paid by Smith County via direct deposit. You must have a W-4 on file with the county to get paid.
